The Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks, Queen Charlotte track and the Marlborough Sounds are about an hour away and of course we are perfectly situated to enjoy both the Nelson-Tasman and Marlborough wine regions, a pleasant half or full day day out. At the south border of Abel Tasman National Park is Takaka Hill, known for its extensive caving system, and some secret spots we can tell you about.
